"Shape of the Crowd" is a 24 page "zine", or booklet of photography, art, and writing depicting and celebrating DIY/indie art and music primarily in Western North Carolina. The focus is on depictions of community, culture, and the "crowd" that exists at DIY/indie live music performances. Some volumes are collaborative, featuring work by me as well as by other artists and contributors active in the DIY/indie scene, while some are solo, featuring only my work.
They are typically printed in initial runs of 100 copies which are available to order by donation of any amount, including free. After the first 100 of each volume are gone, they are available to order bundled with each subsequent volume's initial release, for a donation at least covering the cost of production. I distribute them either in person at events, or by mail which will in most cases require a minimum donation equalling the cost to ship. To acquire, simply contact me via Instagram, text, or e-mail, and I'll acquire your information and payment from there. You can subscribe via Google Form to be notified anytime a new release is on the way as well.
